My family and I just visited Kosovo and some surrounding countries for two weeks. We loved our time there and embraced the food, culture, environment and traffic. We tried a different food at every meal. Almost a different restaurant/bakery every meal. Enjoyed conversation with locals. Got excited and actually enjoyed the cultural traffic methods. So many cars stop for pedestrians. Drivers let others in. Drank as many local drinks (fruit, teas, coffee, bear, wine and a couple liquor’s). The vibrant life reminds me of when we lived in Vietnam and Cambodia in a very positive way. Growth and life. So much construction and growth!! What stands out the most to us is all of the conversation and so few people staring at their phones. I loved running around the city. I loved my trail run. Thank you to all of Kosovo’s people!!!
