Do most Kosovars want to stay independent or to merge with Albania?

Not much outside of the title. Just wondering (American).

The answer to this question is complex and depends on a number of factors, including the political climate, the economy, and the security situation in Kosovo.

Historically, there has been a strong desire for unification among Albanians in Kosovo. This is due to a number of factors, including the shared language, culture, and history of Albanians in Kosovo and Albania. In addition, many Albanians in Kosovo feel that they have been discriminated against by the Serbian government, and unification would provide them with greater political and economic power.

However, there are also a number of factors that could work against unification. First, the international community has not been supportive of unification, and there is a risk that it could lead to instability in the region. Second, there are significant economic and political differences between Kosovo and Albania, and it is not clear how these would be resolved in a unified state. Finally, there is a significant Serb minority in Kosovo, and it is not clear how they would be integrated into a unified state.

Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to unify Kosovo and Albania is a complex one that will need to be made by the people of both countries. There are a number of factors that will need to be considered, and it is not clear what the outcome will be.
